Botanical Name: Hydrangea macrophylla 'Blue Wave'
A magnificent cool blue in less acid soils makes this a wise choice. Large vigorous plants produce lace cap flowers with sea blue sterile ring and a violet center of fertile blossoms. In more alkaline soils outer ring is pink or lilac. Long floral display peaks in June.
